Job summary

TriCore, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomist to join the Rust Hospital team. The role supports multiple modalities, works independently with minimal supervision, and may offer a paid apprenticeship for candidates without prior experience.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic PC skills, and on-site attendance with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Prior phlebotomy experience is beneficial but not required for all levels.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• PBT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Completion of a Clinical Lab Assistant program or comparable training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains supplies and inventory necessary to perform departmental functions.
• Observe students and/or new staff as needed.
• Exhibits problem-solving skills to ensure quality patient care.
• Manage on-call responsibilities and hospital communications as assigned.
