Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• PBT ASCP or equivalent certification preferred; completion of a clinical lab assistant program or similar.
• Immunization requirements including Hepatitis B and documentation for PPD testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain supplies and inventory for department.
• Demonstrate effective communication with clients, patients and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and assist with on-call coverage as needed.
• Execute clerical tasks such as documentation and entry when supervisor is unavailable.
• Support a safe and compliant lab environment and patient care.
