Job summary

TriCore, Inc. is hiring a Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomist for SRMC, with scheduled shifts as needed. Eligible candidates may start at a paid apprenticeship level based on experience; in-person attendance is essential.

This role involves patient interactions, specimen collection, and handling department clerical tasks. Minimum education includes a high school diploma; preferred certs include ASCP.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• PBT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Completion of a Clinical Lab Assistant or comparable program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain supplies and inventory for department functions.
• Assist in clerical tasks and document critical communications.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Participate in on-call coverage and holidays/weekends as needed.
• Demonstrate effective telephone and verbal communication skills.
