Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant Phlebotomist at the Encino PCC location. The role involves performing phlebotomy and clerical tasks with independence and minimal supervision.

Compensation will depend on modalities performed; apprentices may be considered for entry levels. Regular in-person attendance during scheduled work hours is essential, with shifts Monday through Friday and additional shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• PBT ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Completion of a CLA program is expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain supplies and inventory to support departmental functions.
• Observe students and/or new staff as needed.
• Demonstrate professional judgment with clients, patients, and co workers.
• Handle on-call responsibilities during scheduled hours as assigned.
• Perform basic clerical tasks and document critical communications when supervisor is absent.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Support holiday, evening, and weekend coverage as needed.
