Job summary

Labcorp in Yakima, WA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, prepare specimens, document patient data accurately and ensure excellent service for every patient.

Minimum qualifications include a Washington State phlebotomy license. Preferred applicants have 3+ months phlebotomy experience, Labcorp exposure, and bilingual Spanish/English. Schedule is Mon–Fri 9:00am–6:00pm with possible overtime and travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State phlebotomy license required.
• 3+ months phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Qualified to perform moderately complexity testing as defined by CLIA
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients
• Administrative/clerical duties as needed
• Travel to additional sites when required.
