Job summary

Labcorp in the United States is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Centers. You will perform blood collection and processing duties at multiple sites, delivering accurate specimen handling and friendly service to patients.

The role requires a Washington State phlebotomy license and 1+ year of phlebotomy experience; familiarity with Labcorp processes is preferred. The schedule is Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime; travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License is required.
• 1+ year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• 6+ months of Labcorp phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
