Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Yakima, WA team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages, handle specimens, and ensure accurate data entry and patient care.

Qualified candidates hold a WA Phlebotomy License, have 3+ months phlebotomy experience, and preferably Labcorp experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. This full-time role includes incentives and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State license to practice phlebotomy.
• 3+ months phlebotomy experience.
• 6+ months Labcorp phlebotomy experience.
• Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Qualified to perform moderately complex testing as defined by CLIA.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Execute administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
