Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Maywood, NJ. The position requires drawing blood, collecting specimens, and entering patient data with care and accuracy.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, flexibility, and the ability to travel to additional sites. A High school diploma or GED is required, and phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited program is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
