Job summary

Labcorp in Turnersville, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide blood collections and patient service at our patient service centers or client offices. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, enter data, and support billing and administrative tasks while delivering compassionate care.

Minimum qualifications include a HS diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training. Flexibility for overtime and travel to other sites is required, with opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
