Job summary

Labcorp in Sicklerville, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and specimen handling with a patient-focused approach. The role includes data entry, billing support, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification, and 3+ months of phlebotomy experience. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday 6:30am–12:30pm with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
