Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Newark, NJ and Glenridge, NJ team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, document patient information, and ensure accurate specimen handling with a patient-first approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Color vision test must be passable; safe handling of specimens.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Accurate data entry of patient information.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Accept travel to additional sites as needed.
