Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team in Fairlawn, NJ. The role includes blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, accurate data entry, and providing excellent patient service.

You may travel to additional sites as needed and will work Monday–Friday with some overtime. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
