Geisinger Medical Laboratories is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Lock Haven. You will perform venipunctures and skin punctures, ensure proper labeling and specimen handling, and collaborate with clinical staff to support high-quality patient care in a busy lab setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP) certification preferred/required.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is a plus.
• Phlebotomy and specimen handling knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain blood specimens.
• Demonstrate expertise in patient identification, labeling, accessioning, and processing.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to provide safe patient care and accurate results.
• Operate within CSLI guidelines and lab workflows.
• Mentor students and new employees as needed.
