Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills including venipuncture and skin puncture.
• Strong communication with patients and clinical staff.
• Ability to follow CLSI guidelines and laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain blood samples.
• Label, accession, and process specimens according to CLSI guidelines.
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure patient safety and accurate results.
• Mentor students and new staff; participate in competency training.
• Manage inventory and use Geisinger systems where applicable.
