Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of coding, basic math and payer/insurance benefits preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic office equipment preferred.
• Medical terminology and LIS experience preferred.

• Performs phlebotomy using various techniques for inpatients and outpatients.
• Accurately enter orders and collection data into LIS, verify specimens and process reports.
• Follow department protocols for blood collection and post-venipuncture care.
• Ensure patient and specimen identification with two identifiers.
• Assist with urine drug screens and swab collections; transport of specimens.
