Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Richmond, VA, with a casual, PRN schedule and flexible hours Monday through Saturday. You will perform blood collections, collect various specimens, and ensure accurate patient data entry while delivering excellent patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience) is preferred. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Assist with administrative and clerical tasks.
