Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist PRN to join our team. The role involves blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, processing specimens for testing, and delivering excellent patient service across multiple sites.

You will travel to additional sites as needed and may enter patient data and handle billing-related tasks. A phlebotomy certification or training is required, with high school completion as a baseline.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
