Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Richmond, VA. The role requires blood collection across age groups, precise data entry, and a commitment to excellent patient service. Schedule is 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays at a PSC.

You will collect specimens for drug screens and various tests, process billing when needed, and travel to additional sites as required. Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned
