Management Performance Associates is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Monroe, NY (float). Schedule: Mon-Thu 8:00am–5:30pm, Fri 8:00am–1:00pm. Projected duration: 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining specimens according to protocol. Minimum qualifications include valid state phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months venipuncture experience in a lab or hospital, and proficiency with

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws, labeling and processing of specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and document maintenance data.
• Verify and document patient information per protocol.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and collect specimens as required.
• Package and transport specimens maintaining appropriate temperatures.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
