SteveRecruiter, LLC seeks a contract Phlebotomist in Monroe, NY (float position) to perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge and manage specimen handling with strict adherence to procedures.

The role requires phlebotomy certification, 6 months of venipuncture experience, and proficiency with MS Office. Schedule: Mon-Thu 8:00am-5:30pm, Fri 8:00am-1:00pm; duration about 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Explains venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure correct labeling and handling.
