Schedule is Mon-Thu 8:00am-5:30pm, Fri 8:00am-1:00pm, with a float location in Monroe. Minimum qualifications include valid phlebotomy certification, 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge and process specimens per procedures.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination as required.
• Explain venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures to patients.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain proper storage conditions.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Answer inquiries and communicate results as needed.
