ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement in Monroe, NY. The float position will cover various locations with a schedule of Mon–Thu 8:00am–5:30pm and Fri 8:00am–1:00pm.

The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and data recording, with responsibilities including patient communication and adherence to safety protocols. Benefits are available.

Qualificações

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate techniques.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples per protocol to maintain integrity.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual department trainings.
