Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Dorset Street in South Burlington, VT. Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00am–2:00pm with rotating Saturdays. You will perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training. Preferred candidates have 1+ year of phlebotomy experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
