Job summary

Labcorp in Bristol, PA seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, data entry, and accurate specimen handling.

You will provide exceptional customer service, assist with billing, and may travel to other sites as needed. A phlebotomy certification or training is required, with preferred 1+ year experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
