Your Talent Team in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent hire. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and processing in a fast-paced lab.

Requires 2-4 years of phlebotomy experience and certification; must handle pediatric to geriatric patients and maintain OSHA/DEP compliance. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm, with benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Ensure OSHA/DEP regulations compliance.
• Attend annual trainings.
