Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Service Center Phlebotomist to perform specimen collections and provide exceptional customer service in a PSC setting, from primary care sites to medical office buildings.

You will enter patient and test information, ensure accurate labeling, and support QA programs to maintain high patient satisfaction. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, with ASCP certification preferred; experience in PSCs and phlebotomy is desired.

Formación

• Must have a High School diploma or GED; associate coursework welcomed.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail are required.
• Experience in phlebotomy and patient service centers preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform specimen collections including venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Validate and update patient demographics and orders in the BILH system.
• Enter demographics, insurance info, and orders accurately into the system.
• Prepare specimens for transport to the BILH laboratory, and assist in training PSC staff.
• Travel to additional PSCs and doctor sites as needed; comply with policies.
