You will verify insurance eligibility, collect copays, and coordinate with Financial Counselors as needed, while maintaining excellent patient interactions.

The role requires strong accuracy, adherence to procedures, and ability to work in a dynamic hospital environment with a focus on patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens (blood, urine, culture) per orders with correct patient ID.
• Enter patient demographics and resolve unusual test orders with staff.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copays/coinsurance at service time.
• Communicate clearly with patients, staff, and senior leaders.
• Comply with CLIA when handling moderate complexity testing.
