Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred phlebotomy or registration experience; training provided on hire.
• Experience with Epic or comparable electronic medical records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides complete patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification and test coordination.
• Performs venipuncture and specimen collection; ensures patient identity and specimen integrity.
• Documents all steps in the EMR; manages test orders and reconciliation reports.
• Registers patients and handles inbound/outbound calls; guides patients on pre-appointment prep and payments.
• Supports high-volume periods and adapts to inpatient and outpatient settings.
