Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Santa Rosa, CA. Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, rotating weekends may be required. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and provide excellent patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid CA phlebotomy license, with potential for overtime and travel to other sites. Training in California will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.
• 1+ months of phlebotomy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
