Labcorp in Sterling, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for various tests, and provide friendly, accurate service to patients.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, and a Phlebotomy certification or training, with 3+ months experience preferred. You will also enter data, handle billing information, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system and process billing information as needed.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information and provide outstanding patient service.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
