Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in Fuquay Varina, NC. Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm with occasional Saturdays. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering excellent patient service.

Minimum qualifications include either a phlebotomy certification or completion of a phlebotomy training program, with 6 months’ experience as a phlebotomist being ideal. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or provided training.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program preferred.
• Experience as a phlebotomist (6+ months) acceptable in lieu of certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
