Job summary

Labcorp in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and specimen collection for all ages, enter data accurately, and support testing workflows. The role requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy training or certification.

You may join a team providing courteous patient service, travel to additional sites as needed, and comply with safety and privacy standards. A valid driver's license, color vision screening, and flexibility for overtime are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or training program OR 6+ months experience as phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
