Job summary

Labcorp in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections, enter patient data, and support testing workflows while providing excellent patient service. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm with rotating Saturdays 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Travel to additional sites may be required. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training, or 6+ months of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or training program, or 6+ months phlebotomist experience.
• Must pass color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in systems.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
