Job summary

Labcorp in Durham, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, and collect specimens for drug screens and other tests. Ensure accurate data entry and help maintain patient and specimen logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
