Job summary

Labcorp in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and capillary collections across patient age groups. You will ensure accuracy in data entry, handle specimen processing, and provide friendly, professional service at Patient Service Centers or client sites.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 1 year of experience is preferred. The schedule is Mon-Thu 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-4:30pm, with potential for overtime and travel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, tests, and other analyses.
• Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients and staff.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
