Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 1310 W Bloomfield Rd in Bloomington, IN. The role includes blood collection, specimen processing, data entry, and patient service at multiple sites.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or related training, with preferred 1+ year of experience. Schedule is Mon-Thu 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-4:30pm, with potential overtime and travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
