Job summary

Labcorp in Warsaw, IN is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups and provide superior customer service in a healthcare setting.

The role requires a phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program or 3+ months experience; high school diploma or GED; and the ability to travel to additional sites if needed. Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm, rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
