Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Toms River, NJ. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, and ensure accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification or 3+ months as phlebotomist
• Preferred: 1 year+ phlebotomy experience
• Must pass color vision test and demonstrate reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide excellent customer service to patients
• Travel to additional sites as needed
• Support administrative and clerical duties as required
