Job summary

Labcorp in Toms River, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the team on a Mon-Fri schedule with rotating Saturdays. You will perform venipuncture collections, prepare specimens, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering excellent patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Phlebotomy certification or training, and (ideally) 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
