Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in West Chester, PA. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, collect samples for drug screens and tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient paperwork.

The role emphasizes providing excellent customer service, maintaining specimen integrity, and working with minimum supervision. Opportunities for growth and a PST incentive plan are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
