Labcorp in West Chester, PA seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team. Work schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with rotating Saturdays. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, prepare specimens, enter data, and provide excellent patient service in a clinical setting.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience). Color vision testing is required. PST incentive plan may apply for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
