Job summary

Labcorp in Coatesville, PA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, and prepare specimens for testing.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and excellent customer service. Travel to additional sites as needed; a color vision test will be administered; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more phlebotomy experience qualifies you.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
