Job summary

Labcorp in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, enter data accurately, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional travel to other sites. This role emphasizes delivering superior customer service, preparing specimens for testing, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
