Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Fairlawn, NJ. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, specimen handling, data entry, and providing superior patient service.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred. Travel to additional sites may be required, with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:30pm and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or Phlebotomy certification completed training program.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
