Job summary

Labcorp in Holmdel, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. This role focuses on skilled specimen collection, data entry, and delivering excellent customer service in a patient-facing environment.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen preparation, billing support, and occasional travel to other sites. A phlebotomy certification or approved training is preferred, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience of 6 months or more.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
