Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in New Providence and Summit, NJ. You will perform blood collections for all ages, prepare specimens, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering exceptional patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with phlebotomy certification preferred. Travel to additional sites and overtime may be needed; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients; travel to additional sites when needed.
