Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Laguna Niguel team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages, enter data accurately, and support billing and specimen processing in a patient-focused environment.

Located at 25500 Rancho Niguel Road, Laguna Niguel, CA, this role requires a valid CA Phlebotomy License and strong customer service skills, with possible overtime and travel to other Labcorp sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid California State phlebotomy license required.
• Preferred: 1+ months phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred: prior Labcorp experience or license application in CA at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
• Attend 2-week training in California.
