Job summary

Labcorp in Yorba Linda, CA seeks a Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. You will perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods, collect specimens, and provide friendly, accurate service to patients.

The role offers a consistent schedule (Mon-Fri 6:30 am–3:30 pm) with occasional overtime and travel to additional sites, plus benefits and growth opportunities within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CA CPT license issued by the state.
• 3 months or more of phlebotomist experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Must pass color vision test and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
