Job summary

Labcorp in Greenbelt, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection, process specimens, enter patient data accurately and provide friendly, professional service to patients.

The work schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–1:00pm with Saturdays as assigned. Eligible employees may participate in the PST Incentive Plan with a pay range of $17.75–$26.00 per hour, plus medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Other Duties as assigned
