Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Fordland, MO 65652. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with opportunities for growth within the organization. This role involves skilled specimen collection, patient interaction, and adherence to quality and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.
• Pass standardized color blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Current or prior Labcorp experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
